Virtually Invisible Aligners

Invisalign aligners are custom-made to fit snugly against your teeth, so they will feel as natural as they look. Because they are made with clear plastic, your coworkers, classmates, and peers will hardly notice you are undergoing orthodontic treatment. The same can't be said for braces.

While metal brackets and wires on braces can irritate your cheeks, Invisalign aligners have smooth, form-fitting surfaces. There is less risk of injury or irritation to the gums or lips, and they are a great option for teens who play contact sports.

In order for clear aligners to do their job, they need to be worn at least 20 to 22 hours each day. You must be able to remember and commit to wearing your aligners at all times, except for meals.

Be Mindful of What You Drink

You should only drink nonsparkling water while wearing your aligners. Drinking acidic, sugary, and dark-colored liquids while wearing your aligners can stain them. It can also hold sugar and acids against your teeth for long periods of time. Hot beverages can also warp your aligners.

Is there an age limit for Invisalign?

It is never too late to straighten your smile. There is no age limit for Invisalign treatment.

Can my child undergo Invisalign treatment?

While there is no set age minimum for Invisalign treatment, patients must be responsible enough to wear and maintain their aligners. 

How much does Invisalign treatment cost?

The cost of Invisalign treatment is determined by your unique needs; it can range from $1,700 for minor single-arch corrections to $8,000 for complex cases. How do I clean my aligners?

Use a soft bristle brush and a mild soap to clean your aligners. Each time you remove your aligner trays, be sure to at least rinse them with cool or warm water before putting them back in your mouth. Do not use hot water or abrasive toothpaste on the aligners, as this can cause damage. Be sure to brush and floss your teeth at least twice a day as well.
